EST debuts ANPR parking platform at The Showman’s Show

Event Support Team (EST) unveiled its new car-park pre-booking platform with integrated ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) at The Showman’s Show, marking the system’s first public showcase at Newbury Showground.

The launch follows a high-profile trial during the Rugby World Cup in Cardiff, where the technology processed 20,000+ vehicles across eight matches at the Millennium Stadium. Building on that success, EST demonstrated how advance bookings paired with plate recognition speed up entry, curb congestion, and give organisers live demand data for better resourcing.

“Pre-book plus ANPR is a step-change for ingress,” said an EST spokesperson. “It’s faster for attendees and more predictable for planners.” The company is now rolling out the solution to stadiums, festivals, and large-scale events for the 2016 season.
