EST management, have significant experience of planning and delivering for one-off prestigious sporting events having been involved with the planning and delivery of the Traffic management and parking support for the London 2012 Olympic football events, ticket sales for the Regional football matches accounted for 35% of all tickets sold for the Olympics.
EST management, was closely involved in the design and planning stages of the Olympic football events at the RICOH Arena and worked closely with LOCOG and their traffic consultants to develop the Venue Transport Operation Plan (VTOP) for the events. It was clear that the Olympic events would not be ‘business as usual’ for the venue because of the impacts of the requirements for security, broadcast , athletes and the fact the spectator profile for the Olympics would be completely different to a normal match day.
EST management, subsequently successfully tendered through LOCOG for the provision of Traffic Management and Parking staff and signage for the Olympic Football events at Regional Football Stadia including Millennium Stadium (Cardiff), City of Coventry Stadium (Ricoh Arena), St James Park (Newcastle), Old Trafford (Manchester) and Hampden Park (Glasgow), delivering services to 26 Men’s matches and 23 Women’s matches over 10 days with spectator numbers of upto 80,000 per match involved.
This included the supply of the following staff to successfully deliver an excellent spectator and client experience for the venues;
Traffic Managers;

Traffic Management signs and equipment operatives(installation, maintenance and decommissioning), on venue and the public highway;
Vehicle Permit Check Points primarily on the public highway;
