We provide regular stewards for football and rugby matches, therefore the majority of our stewards have qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 in Crowd Control.
All of our stewards are trained in customer service, to provide an excellent experience for visitors to your event.
Stewards play an important role in ensuring the safety and smooth running of events. Their specific responsibilities can vary depending on the type of event and the venue, but here are some common duties:
Stewards help manage and guide the flow of people into and out of the event, as well as within the event space itself. They may direct attendees to their seats or help maintain order in crowded areas.
Stewards may be responsible for checking tickets, searching bags, and enforcing event rules to ensure the safety and security of attendees. They may also respond to medical emergencies and assist with evacuations in case of an emergency.
Stewards serve as a point of contact for attendees, providing information, answering questions, and assisting with any issues that arise during the event.
Stewards may help set up and take down event equipment, such as tables, chairs, and barriers.
Depending on the event, stewards may be responsible for other tasks such as managing parking, checking in vendors or performers, or providing support for event staff.
Stewards play a critical role in ensuring that events run smoothly and safely, and their work often goes unnoticed by attendees who are able to enjoy the event without incident.
